Absolute Software has collaborated with HP to install our Persistence technology on new HP Education Edition tablets and notebook. The new HP Education Edition tablets and notebook are specifically designed for classroom learning, providing all of the technology and services required for a comprehensive solution. The devices also come preloaded with the HP School Pack, a set of instructional tools to help students learn and enable educators to teach more efficiently.
With our Persistence technology installed at the factory, K-12 districts using Absolute can efficiently track, manage and secure these educational devices and effectively enable the 1-to-1 curriculum plans these devices support.
“Absolute is a trusted, long-standing ally that has supported HP’s efforts to deliver learning devices with world-class security infrastructure,” said Gus Schmedlen, VP of Education, Printing and Personal Systems, HP. “Persistence technology from Absolute allows HP and our channel partners to deliver secure, well-managed and effective education solutions.”
Absolute has provided educational organizations with the ability to remotely manage and secure deployed endpoints for more than 20 years. We currently protect, secure and manage the devices of 21 out of the 25 largest school districts in the United States and are proud to be collaborating with HP on these groundbreaking devices. We are pleased to be able to extend our existing persistent support to help securely manage the newest and most efficient education tools.
Persistence technology from Absolute provides you with visibility and control over all of your devices, regardless of user or location. If an Absolute software client is removed from an endpoint, it will automatically reinstall so you can secure each device and the sensitive data it contains. No other technology can do this.
